Nominate a Caregiver

Caregivers are the quiet heroes in our community. They dedicate their time, energy, and love to care for others, often putting their own needs aside in the process. The Latino Senior Expo believes it is time to pause, reflect, and honor their commitment.

In 2026, we invite you to join us in celebrating these incredible individuals by submitting a nomination for the Caregiver of the Year Awards. This recognition gives us all the chance to shine a light on those who make a difference every single day.

Award Categories

  • Exceptional Caregiver

Awarded to a caregiver who has assumed the role of primary caregiver for a family or non-family member, whether paid or volunteering. These individuals sacrifice personal and social lives to improve the lives of others.

  • Empathy Ambassador Award

Celebrating a person who demonstrates understanding, compassion, and contributes to a positive work environment for clients and coworkers.

  • Lehigh Valley Home Care of the Year

Recognizing an agency that provides exceptional customer service, values its caregivers, promotes diversity and inclusion, and builds strong relationships with patients and families.

  • Senior of the Year

Honoring an individual whose impact on their community serves as an inspiration, reflecting a life well-lived through remarkable contributions.

Eligibility

To be considered for the 2026 Caregiver of the Year Awards, nominees must:

  • Have served as a paid or unpaid caregiver between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.

  • Have taken on responsibilities such as personal care, housekeeping, transportation, or general health support.

  • Not be affiliated with the Latino Senior Expo Committee or its members.

Timeline and Announcement

  • Deadline to Submit Nominations: Wednesday, April 1st, 2026

  • Winner Announced: Friday, May 22nd, 2026, at the Latino Senior Expo Cocktail Dinner (6:30 PM to 8:30 PM).

    *Tickets to attend the cocktail dinner can be purchased separately for each nominee

  • Winners will also be featured on Lamar Billboards across the Lehigh Valley in June 2026.

How to Nominate

Submitting a nomination is simple:

  1. Agencies must first complete their attendance payment to participate in the nomination process.

  2. Once the payment is received, the official nomination form will be sent directly to the agency.

  3. The agency can then provide details about the nominee and their caregiving journey.

  4. Submit the completed form before the nomination deadline.

Please note: The winning agency and caregiver will also be featured on Lamar Billboards on Airport Road in June 2026, gaining community-wide recognition.
